People walk by the house and tell me how great they look (from across the ravine). One lady even invited me to her house to see them. We have been enjoying our new sunroom for two weeks now. It has far exceeded our expectations. We have been extremely happy with the purchase of our awning from Alexander Awnings. Last summer we often would not eat outside on our back deck as it was just too hot. We would pull the drapes across the back sliding doors to keep the house cool and miss the beautiful setting sun. Now we extend the awning and open the drapes to allow the natural light to come into the house without the direct beating sun. I found that Dave listened to our specific needs and was able to design the right size awning with a drop down screen to solve our sunset glare issues inside the house and the extreme heat outside on the deck. Now we enjoy the beautiful setting sun over Lake Ontario from both inside and outside of the house with the drapes wide open.

Our Restaurant, @27 in Port Colborne was in need of a permanent awning for our patio. In early 2011, Alexander Awnings installed a permanent awning in order for us to maximize our patio usage. To date we are actually getting reservations requesting seats on the patio… something we have never had before. A side wall for windy days, extends it’s use as well. This was a great investment for our business and we had a great experience with this company.

I am very happy with the new retractable awnings on the windows and deck – and several of the neighbors are too.
